Overthrowing the Taliban AFTER 9/11 was something a 10 year-old could have decided on. shrub gets ZERO credit for that...it was a given. NOT ignoring all the warnings from a wide range of sources BEFORE 9/11 is also something a 10 year-old could have done. shrub gets an unmeasurable DEDUCTION of credit for his willful ignorance.

Appeasers always have arguments to support doing nothing against our avowed enemies. After 9-11, I remember hearing all the warnings about the dreaded Afghan winter - we'd better not go in before spring. Others warned we couldn't make war on Muslims during Ramadan - all the Muslims in the world would turn against us, we'd create millions of new terrorists, Muslim leaders around the world warned us. Clinton actually heeded these warnings. And you bet the sensitive Kerry would too.
