You are incorrect again.

Hackworth is suggesting we take small steps, and first get our house in order, and above all we should allow ourselves to get stretched beyond our means. Then we should pound them intelligently.

The first thing any president should do who takes his country into war is prepare them for war, undeclared or otherwise. GWB and co want us to have butter first guns second. It ain't gonna work. We are all but frigging broke already.
