Our real enemy may be the far rightwing. Remember Oklahoma City, the JFK assassination, the lies getting us into Vietnam and Iraq, the energy gouging, the looting of the treasury, the S+L debacle, etc. They have showed that they are perfectly capable of bringing the US down, down down when they have the power, and using violence, lies, war and massive corruption to reach their aims. Funny how Bush makes freudian slips like saying "it would be easier if I were dictator". Also, if you listen to some rightwing extremists they really don't want democracy in this country at all. They want to shut up the press, close down universities, etc. They're dangerous.
