No I don't think that at all... a Ponzi scam is just what it is...a scam! There is no way all these retiring baby boomers are going to collect without raising the daylights out of payroll taxes for our future workers. If your beloved choke-artist Al Gore had been president...it wouldn't have mattered. It's simple applied economics. We'll have to walk through the door of socialism to make it work...which is where we've been crawling to the last 40 years anyway. People are living a lot longer and we're going to have tens of millions retire in the next few decades...no way. All Ponzi scams have to end, it's the nature of the game. It's illegal for you & me to run these pyramid scams, but the government can run the mother lode of all pyramids.
