LOL. Nope, never wrote another one, except jokey verses when my son was a child, to amuse him, doggerel, that sort of thing. (Mama's interpretation of the one I showed her was mortifying.) I get spam email with such peculiar subject lines, and suppose everyone does (though I think your subject lines get odder if you're a Word-a-Day subscriber), that maybe we could try a poem using just words or phrases taken from spam. You'd have to save up for a while. But here are a few subject lines from today. Fall, lunatic, you fall, fall from abstraction. relax, you -- (at latin american prices) Given the limitation, it seems quite poem-like, I think! Rule I just made up: you can reuse words, but can't add any that aren't there. I'm going to start saving my spam, this is fun. Some subject lines are too crude to use. I see I didn't use 'exhortation.' Or 'camelwhiff' either. I sure could have used an 'and.' We could collect a bunch of subject line everyone could use, or each can use his or her own, or we can plunder words from other people's subject lines.... BTW, I see that "haiku can be either free form, or 5 - 7 - 5." At least here. Maybe it's just for this haiku calendar competition: snapshotpress.co.uk
