Two huge scandals begin today for Bush. #1 - Israel has at least one agent high up in the Pentagon working with Wolfowitz whom I've always suspected was in cahoots with the Israelis anyway, he and Pearle. #2 - Bush's promise of a growing economy just got totally disproven today, with recessionary numbers, right after Bushies pre-leased the exploding poverty and uncovered health care numbers. In other words, people in this country are feeling the big pinch under Bush and he has lied to us that things are getting better.

You are absolutely right! I recall that Lyndon Johnson's son-in-law, one P. Nugent, served in Vietnam but in a non-combatant role. He and his wife (Johnson's daughter) were constantly watched over by special agents. It seemed they had lots of time to enjoy taking rides on elephants in neighbouring Thailand. Vietnam was thought to be as easy as pie. But it turned out to be a nightmare for Johnson and Nixon. They say that history repeats itself. We see this happening right now in Iraq.
