I would like to try a sales tax and remove the income tax. Rich people are already rich and don't pay much income tax. It would catch a lot of the drug money too.... :) Politicians sitting around adjusting symptoms will never fix any problems...it's led to the quagmire we have now in the IRS. Anyone with an eight grade education should be able to fill out their own income tax return.... But the politicians would tweak a sales tax with bandaids and it would soon become insanely unusable as is the current IRS system....
