Kerry didn't ask to serve in Nam, he requested the USS Gridley... offshore and coastal patrol boats..again offshore. When they sent him actually to Nam..he protested and whined and complained about it. Kerry's own statements sink him on this point. And Bush requested to serve in Nam and signed up for the Palace Alert program.

That is not true.
You cannot document that anywhere.

Here is a link to every military document Kerry has released. His paperwork volunteering for Vietnam is not there.
It does not exist. If it did, we would see it.

And, btw, unlike enlisted men, officers are responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of their own records. If there are any mistakes Kerry owns them, not the Navy.
