The left CONTINUES to miss the forest...

Lesson on the Law of Unintended Consequences:

The 527 situation was practically ORDERED by the Congress when it foolishly passed McCain/Feingold. There is no stopping it short of Congress acting again. McConnell will exact a price from the left when that comes around-but it won't be in this Congress anyway.

Neither will Swiftboat go away. "Unfit" is just getting started due to the underestimation of demand by the niche publisher (85,000 is usually a big run for them.)

But mostly, the Kerry exposures DON'T effect voters who regularly follow events. By accident or design, it is a situation the ZEROS in on the casual voter. For that segment NOTHING can compete with it right now-and that is what is scaring the DAYLIGHTS out of the Kerry henchmen.

Effectively, the Democrats have spent decades diluting our democracy by preaching the myth of "participation". Now the most powerful idea driving their McVoters is NOT their socialist class-hatred or racist boilerplate, it's the Kerry exposure brought on by Swiftboat.

And the anti-Bush "establishment" media heat exacerbates the negative fever against Kerry the more shrill the "journalists" become (They saw the same phenomenon in California with the LA Times' crusade to save Gray Davis-but they refused to recognize it.)

The "participation" monster is rising from the lab table and devouring the Democrat mad scientist who thought he could control it...

<font color=blue>"O'Neill lies routinely. Here, for example....."<font color=black>

OK, I give. How does a fairly successful lawyer who makes
donations to both Democrats & Republicans somehow become
a "routine" liar? Is it because he says, he himself has
had no, "serious involvement in politics of any kind in
over 32 years"? So O'Neill doesn't think that financial
contributions equates to his "serious" involvement in
politics. He never ran for any political office. He votes
for individuals, not political parties as his voting
records shows. Oh, the question was dishonestly put to him
in an attempt to discredit him in the Swift Boats Vet
issue FWIW.

And even if you somehow believe this makes O'Neill
a "routine" liar, then you must be absolutely disgusted
that the Democratic candidate for President has a long
history of serious lies. I mean, you seem to be so
inflexible & absolutely certain that O'Neill routinely
lies on flimsy evidence. Yet you certainly can't think
that Kerry has never lied on matters of substance when the
facts clearly show he has lied so repeatedly.

Kerry must have you really upset since he wants to be
POTUS & he makes O'Neill look like a Saint in comparison
on the honesty front.
