--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Possible Duplicate Registration and Voting, 1998 and General Elections

Overall Findings

An analysis of all or part of 11 states (AZ, CT, FL, MA, NC, NJ, NM, NY, PA, RI, SC) resulted in the following findings:

Based on 2000 records, in those states there are 140,109 people who are registered to vote in two locations (could be two states or two counties in the same state). This includes the NY Post study. Without the NY Post numbers, the total new double registrations found is 69,887.

Based on 1998 records, 219 people's voter registrations were voted twice (once each in different locations) in the 1998 election.

Based on 2000 records, 689 people's voter registrations were voted twice (once each in different locations) in the 2000 election.

Will Kerry lose Maine too?

One thing, that just about every average Mainer has in common with one another is that they all read Uncle Henry's. Uncle Henry's for those of you who are not from Maine, is a weekly magazine both in print and online, that carries nothing but, stuff for sale, stuff for trade, stuff wanted to by, swap or trade.

...Maine is one of the three most liberal states in the country.

...The Uncle Henry's on line poll is a legitimate poll asked of average Mainer's. A poll that could not be fiddled with by either the Portland Press Herald or any others of the extreme left media.

Question: If the presidential election is today, who would you vote for?

President George Bush 52%
John Kerry 42%
Ralph Nader 6%

You cannot state that at this time. It is nothing more than a hopeful guess.

Actually, Kerry will get more than 50% of the vote in all of the West Coast states.
