Folks who pay much attention to the Swifties do not think for themselves. They become the "useful idiots" of O'Neill who has a political axe to grind and who is a political opportunist. A good number of unthinking Vietnam Vets side with O'Neill because O'Neill's specious arguments have somehow helped them exorcise their own guilt about their Vietnam experience. Quite powerful serendipitous help for Nush, I must say. The question is, "Will It Last?" We'll see. You see, not all Americans are like those who went to Vietnam. By the way, did you know that a high percentage of the troops that saw action and died in Vietnam were blacks from California?
