The last trailer park I passed on my latest world tour was just outside San Francisco. It was occupied by a group calling themselves The Indomitable Remnants. Upon inquiry, I discovered that they were the last surviving former posters of the ChinuSFO John Kerry for President thread. It seems that that thread disbanded soon after November and those few who managed to hang on to their delusions until the last vote was counted regrouped, took over this abandoned trailer park, installed a groupie latrine, and are waiting for 2008. I smiled as I passed by. I remembered that, fortunately, I had been banned by that group's leader quite early in the Bush/Kerry wars. And was I thankful. Imagine. I might have suffered their fate. There but for the grace of God and all that. . .
