Your description of the present day Democratic Party, or what is left of it, is right on target. Include haters among those adjectives. I voted for Harry Truman, though he added a year to my enlistment during Korea, because he was a man of integrity, and had the courage to use the bomb in WW2, though he has been criticized ever since by fools who have no idea how many lives he saved in the long run, both Japanese, American and our allies.
I can think of no Democratic president since, including JF Kennedy, a Camelot Potemkin Village, who reached Truman's stature. Sad. At one time you felt no matter which party was in office they were concerned with our Country, not themselves, or just their power and profit. Tough campaigns, but conducted with at least some class and respect for the electorate. Not to be found among the Demohacks today.

Maybe Kerry could abandon Teresa and marry Hillary and they could run together in '08. Naw! Never work. Hillary is too poor. She would have to write a lot of books and get her friends in NOW to buy them.
