No Ed, I'm not too young to remember that war. I enlisted in the Marine Corp following Tet. I suppose we Marines always held ourselves to a higher standard and I offer no apologies for that.

Lots of people risked their lives for our country but they didn't turn on the men they served with.

Kerry wasn't a conscript. He enlisted and then volunteered to lead men in battle. I expect more leadership out of those in that position. You may not, and that's fine. The Marine Corp taught us better than that.

Too freely offer "PUBLIC" testimony to Congress and our nation, the same information that the VC were torturing our people over in North Viet Nam to admit to, is despicable in my opinion.

You can't throw your medals away in protest and then try to hang your hat on those same medals later. But then again, Flipper seems to flip flop on a lot of issues, doesn't he?
