Laz, When I lived in California I was one of the radicals who seriously thought that California should secede from the Union and become its own sovereign nation. California didn't need the rest of the country; it had everything it needed right within its boundaries. Then, when that was done, we could perhaps consider splitting the California into two or three countries or territories. Actually, if you click on each county in the map in that second link you provided in your original post in this series, you will get that county's statistics. Just trying to help. "Then why didn't you and quit bellyaching? :-) " Aye, but I did! My "bellyaching," as you call it, was WRT the third link link, the one containing census data as recent as 1980. - Holly
