BS. New polls show Bush is busted on the Smearvets.
They show the majority of Americans believe Bush was behind the smear.

49% maybe at the height of the Smearvet charges before they were disproven one by one, but that's what smear campaigns do, they temporary slime the opponent so that people have doubts about the guy. Same as Bush did to McCain. Bush's problem is he's taking his one big smear shot and has nothing left. Now that people know he and his dirty tricks sqwuads are liars they won't believe them anymore.

The SMearVets will end up hurting Bush, but for now they have hurt Kerry. Voters feel badly for victims of smear campaigns. Especially when they have done nothing wrong and in fact are heros. If McCain had had a few more weeks he could have disproven the 2000 Bush smear campaign, beat him in SC and gotten the nomination. Kerry supporters and non-partisans have 10 full weeks to finish proving that Bush-Rove smears combat heros with lies and slander. That will boomerang back into Bush's face.

Bush may finally condemn the ads at the convention but only after he has perped the crime. He'll still be guilty.

Name one Smearvet claim which is true. Besides admitting Kerry was a brave combat leader and saved Rassman's life, I'll bet you can't find anything. Not a single claim is true. Just a 100% total smear job paid for by Texas Bushie money.

Too many voters do not believe the word of a presidential candidate. That is a serious problem for Kerry.

AS continues to libel vet heros, something he has stated many times is wrong. I knew Cliff was lying.

49% of registered voters believe that Kerry either exaggerated or lied about his Vietnam record
