ur like a north star so often from a TA perspective

i can see and understand all ur pointing out in the valero chart,, even though the cmf,, has lots of red, in negative territory,,, the trend is at a steep positive angle.

but i have an FA question for the whole board,,

board,,,
in bum's list i see vlo, valero.
my simple question is,,
if the price of a barrell of oil declines,,,
does that improve the profit margin for a refiner?

and fwiw i see support for oil at $40 and $39
