Honor is back.

Yes it is. But don't get too carried away. Remember where you live. :>)

Minuteman comments on Lipscomb.

...Asked how the citation could have been executed over his signature without his knowledge, Lehman said: "I have no idea. I can only imagine they were signed by an autopen." The autopen is a device often used in the routine execution of executive documents in government.

OK, is it expecting too much for Lipscomb to ask Lehman whether this might have been the standard practice in his office? Or did Lehman remember signing every citation awarded under his tenure in the 80's? Roughly how many was that, anyway? Does Lipscomb know, or care?

OK, I am glad a Serious Journalist is looking at this. But my goodness.

I'm still waiting for honor to return to Illinois, especially Chicago.

It's worse then that, uw. The vets are penetrating deep into enemy territory on hit and run raids!! My shooting pal went to some liberal college on the Hudson to drop off his niece for college a couple of days ago. He wore his "Proud Vietnam Veteran Against Kerry" button prominently displayed on his NRA hat. When asked if he thought he should really be wearing it there: "I'm exercising the First Amendment rights I fought for in Vietnam. You have a problem with that?"

I went to the N Idaho Fair yesterday and back again today for some rodeo. It is less than 10 minutes from my house.
Yesterday, I saw some Vets wearing hats identifying them as Vets:
Vietnam Vet
Retired Army
USMC
Retired USAF
Desert Storm Vet
Retired Navy
USS...saw a dozen, all different ships

That's great to hear.

For comparison purposes, I nominate KLP to attend the Western Washington Fair, a/k/a "The Puyallup" and report in. I daresay there will be a difference as compared to the No. Idaho Fair.
