A dress code does not mean "State coerced conformity". It does mean decency and does not antagonize others. Gang colors remind some of the 'brown shirts'.

State coerced conformity in dress is the slippery slope.



We have lots of state imposed restrictions on Kids. This is a good one, IMO. Much better than the mandatory "volunteer" programs that a lot of the states are requiring now as "altruism."
