It doesn't matter at all. The guy making the claim is an outright leftist, openly hostile to Bush.

Moreover, even if evidence showed up that someone pulled strings to get Bush into the Guard, Bush will simply say "Well I can't control what others decide to do."

Additionally, Bush's people will say "The President didn't make calls to get people to help him avoid the draft, which is what Clinton did. When his orders came, he went."

There is nothing in this at all. Leftists are just desperate. I like seeing empty stuff like this. It only keeps Kerry, not Bush, off of his game because the focus of the campaign remains ever on Vietnam. The Democrats are just priming the public for the next Swifty volley in this war.
