The NY Post is owned by Rupert Murdoch who has not only endorsed Bush but has a unwitten rule in his media empire than you don't criticize Bush too much or you're out. I got that from a friend I know who's an executive at Fox News. He got very nervous once when I was discussing with him some of the things in FAHRENHEIT 9-11, as if he were living in a totalitarian state and someone might hear him queastioning the government.

JDN, my fav sunday AM show is CNN's "Reliable Sources" when journalists analyze their profession's coverage for that wk. There were 3 reporters, the woman from San Francisco Chronicle? or Examiner? asserted her opinion that most journalists are soft-balling Kerry's credentials while nit-picking Bush's. The other 2 reporters disagreed with her. She strongly defended her position & finally the commentator said "let's move on, you can take that argument outside." It was encouraging to see that there are still a few authentic news reporters among the national media.
