If you mean President Bush, its cause he is among the greatest Presidents this nation has ever had. Has led this country safely through 3 years of hell from Terrorists, corporate frauds, inherited recessions and still comes out smiling, whilst Kerry seems to only know how to WHINE. jdn

>>> JDN, you're a vet. How can you support this guy:
George W. Bush LIED about how he got into the TANG! <<<

I'm a vet too. I enlisted in the Marine Corp during the Viet Nam war. I served from 69-71.

I support GWB as well and it has nothing to do with his service record. GWB isn't using his service record as a platform for re-election, Kerry is. Therefore, Kerry has opened his record to scrutiny because he is using that record to prove whether he is fit for command.

Military service isn't a requirement for the Presidency. Clinton didn't serve and in fact dodged the draft. Clinton didn't make it an issue either.

Bush gets a pass on his military record especially since he's already in office and has proven that he will respond to threats on this country.

Kerry has to prove he is fit because he stepped forward and wanted to run on his military record. Edwards told us to speak with those who served with Kerry if we wanted to know the man. Edwards made the rookie blunder of the year award with those comments. He should have kept his mouth shut. The Kerry campaign now wishes that he had.
