That is interesting. I used to drink V8 all the time when I was trying to lose a few pounds. Then after noting a higher blood pressure and weight gain, I took a look at the label and saw that sodium content is about 1/4 of daily tolerance. A glass of V8 only has 50 calories, but as you suggest the whole picture needs to be reviewed.

When you check this new V8, see what the sodium content is. They may increase that further as salt makes a lot of plain stuff taste "better."

I guess it depends on whether you really buy the line that the Atkins mania is truly the root cause of KKD's woes.

Don't forget that Krispy Kremes were a mania in and of themselves. Be careful.
