It's not that Kerry didn't go to Viet Nam, he did. It's not that he didn't go into combat, he did.

It's what he did AFTER he got back that had other Viet Nam Vets lying in waiting...just for the chance to stick it to him like he stuck it to them. I bet it really gauled the Vets when Kerry stood up at the DNC convention and said the was "reporting for duty".

Remember, it was Kerry who made such a big issue of his service in Viet Nam. Now he has to pay the piper for what he did after it.
