My kids are used to seeing Muslim schoolgirls in hijab, it's just normal to them. The local public schools and the local university have many, many Muslim girls and boys. Both sexes seem to all wear black all the time and have very slim hips and shoulders and wear skin tight clothing. The hijabs tend to be very colorful scarves, nicely draped. Just think, no "bad hair days," ever! I am not familiar with the plot of Godspell, but as a Catholic with some Mennonite relatives, wearing head coverings these days isn't so bizarre for Christians. It was universally done for centuries.
