Kerry has never boasted about his war record. Never. Now though we are at war and his war hero credentials are important, so he lets other people talk about it. Nothing wrong with that. What's wrong is the Smearvets accusations which have now been proven untrue. Kerry earned every medal the hard way and has never lied. That's the bottomline. Was he in Cambodia exactly on Dec, 25th? Probably not but he was there 3-4 times and in December,. and according to the LA Times he was very close to Cambodia on Christmas only 20 miles away so he might have crossed into Cambodia. That "lie" of Kerry's if it is indeed a lie, is so miniscule in nature that it doesn't even merit the paper its printed on. Bush cannot account for an entire 8 month period in 1972 when he was supposed to be serving. If Kerry is 20 miles or one day off who cares?
