Brian, How do you know what day of the week is really the Sabbath? According to the bible, God rested on the seventh day, which is to be considered the Sabbath, but there were no names assigned to the days when God created the earth. How can anyone be sure which day is the seventh day? Who put the days of the week in numerical order? Clearly, it was human beings that decided which day would be called the Sabbath, and that day is not universally recognized. The Jews, who preceded the Christians, call Saturday the Sabbath, so why did the Christians, who were organized by former Jews, choose Sunday? There is also a question as to which day of the week is the seventh. Some consider Sunday to be the first day of the week, instead of the last day. Don't you think that all Christians should act as if every day of the week was, in a way, the Sabbath, and live a Christian life as much as is humanly possible? It seems obvious that you just don't do anything on Sunday, so just how dedicated are you to the Sabbath as described in the bible? The fact that you use the computer could be considered a violation of the Sabbath, just as much as milking your cow. Actually, you had better milk your cow, or her lactation cycle will be compromised.
