Carolyn, what planet are you from? Kerry faltered in the polls last week because the media was transfixed on the dishonest smear campaign against him and voters got confused. Now the Smearvet ads have been proven lies and they are starting to hurt Bush. For instance, now we are talking about Bush going AWOl again and lying about his record. What goes around comes around. Next comes the GOP convention and Bush ought to get a few points out of that. Then Kerry will come back again. Kerry was 20% behind DEan then came back and beat him soundly. he is a very fierce fighter, extremely smart and a monster closer. Unless something comes from out of left field, expect Kerry to catch Bush and them to fight neck in neck to the finish line. Kerry and Bush are in an exact tie as of today. Nobody is ahead now. But Bush needs more than that. Historically most undecideds go to the challenger. Also expect record Dem turnout this year. Bush needs a knock-out punch buit he's failing on every single big issue. That's why he needs help. And not another dishonest smear campaign. You can only get away with that for a week or so.
