Wonder what Daniel Pipes has to say about Kiryas Joel? That's a Hasidic village in upstate New York. There are Hasidic communities all over the country.

Can you imagine the outcry if this was a Christian project?

There's a place like that within a few blocks of my home. It's Episcopal. Private school, church, houses. I walk there sometimes because it's so nice and quiet. It's not clear from the article whether the gates of the community in Little Rock would be open or not as the gates to the Episcopal property are. The devil may be in the details. But it seems to me that properties like this exist all over the country already.
