I know, Ground Zero, I saw that. People who visit 'A Poetry Corner' are by nature passionate. It's just that I'd like to keep the 'Corner' free for musing about poetry. There are plenty of places for us to take our shots elsewhere on SI. E took hers, you took yours. She had her reasons, you had yours. It's time to move on.

I really think this is important. Poetry is no good if it has only one kind of idea. 'When My Lady Cries' is just as vital as any of the other poems that have crossed this venue. I would really hate to lose any of them.

Did you think I objected to your not knowing the lyrics? Oh, I apologize for the misunderstanding, GZ. When I gave the composer's name, I didn't even know you were unaware of it. Certainly, it would be a silly thing to be upset at someone not knowing who wrote a song lyric! And I'm glad to have been helpful to you.

<g> -- as you so often say! (May I borrow it?)

Yes, I'm glad to read that you have no other agenda, and agree that poetry is the subject. Let's share. As an artist, you will have much to contribute.

Let's get started:
