The Palestinians have not officially negotiated. Arafat has refused to allow a series of hand-picked PM's to sit down with anything other than the party line. The issues are way more complex than any of us with our narrow views can appreciate. A real solution is to take into consideration everyone's interest. The world is too small to think that one nation can dominate an area or the world. However, rationality has to take hold first for negotiation to work. Unfortunately, crazed religious nuts often don't understand the concept of rationality.
