I hope and pray that the French journalists are freed, not killed ... from your posts I wondered if you didn't want them taught a lesson somehow.

Honestly, JT -- Is is possible that MORE violence is NOT the answer here?? And what about the collateral damage in Iraq -- is that all justified -- I've seen estimates of over 10k killed so far? Can you answer without appealing to 9/11? Is it possible we are just recruiting larger and larger numbers of radicals, by NOT simply going after the folks that perpetrated 9/11 and INSTEAD trying to be the ME policemen "for the world??"

The stance in that book and other such books by the Neo-cons can be self-fulfilling, you know -- if we see an enemy under every rock and in every desert -- we can sure act so as to produce them -- that culture clash you are talking of ...
