What you report sounds very reasonable. The question is, is it reflected in the current price of COS or not? Being unable to answer that question I won't buy COS. There are so many attractive oil trusts competing with such a purchase! The after tax yield of COS is quite low. Maybe indeed you can make a short term killing; but short term operations exact a large cost of your time and attention. Can you spare that, is another question.
