"Father, Moi continues to have real problem with Mel
Gibson's film..."

You may need to go to confession if your problem is with the faith to believe in his sacrifice.

Mel Gibson's Passion of Christ accurately captures the biblical essence of the greatest sacrifice in human history--the divine son of God taking on human nature to offer himself as a sacrifice for our sins. During his suffering and death, Chrit took upon himself the penalty for the sins of all men. He requires only that we believe and love with the faith of a child.

religious scholars (christian, jewish, and other) have many issues with his so-called "historical account" particularly the account of the actions of pontius pilate.

roman historical documents (non-religious) clearly show that pontius was a cruel sadist. there was also no tradition in either roman or jewish history whereby a convicted man was set free on passover.

it is widely understood that much of the story was altered after the death of christ to be more sympathetic to the roman empire, which had changed course under Constantine to support christianity.
