A mega catastrophe: I think the worst outcome would be a hit on Dade County, and then on into the GOM, then northwest into the energy complex around New Orleans (an especially vulnerable city to flooding). That would probably be in the hundred billion category. I don't expect most of the reinsurance industry to survive it, too undercapitalized and underreserved for something like this.
