Ted, Apparently, we live vicariously through our athletes.

That's for sure, but as long as it inspires a few more people to be physically fit, I'm all for it.

By the way, one more thought I had about the Olympics, and it's about our "Dream On" team. Maybe the failure to win gold will finally motivate our NBA players to play better team ball, instead of doing this superstar crap that Shaq and Kobe were notorious for doing. Oh well, at least our women did much better in team sports, getting the gold in soccer, basketball, and softball. (Did they get it in volleyball as well? I forget.)
