Call me picky, as I'm sure you will, at least under your breath, but the concepts don't conjoin. Rather instances of each coincide.

Sort of like condo apartments. Almost all high-rise apartments are rentals. Almost all real estate sits on the ground with sky above. The concept of living in a box aloft in a big building and that of owning a home coincide. That doesn't muddy the distinction between the separate concepts of owning real estate and high-rise apartment houses.

As for the viable fetus, I agree with you that that is the most appropriate demarcation between the overwhelming preference for interests of the woman and shared interests between her and the fetus. Morally, that is. Not necessarily legally.
