France Rejects Iraqi Kidnappers' Demand on Scarf Ban (Update5)

Aug. 30 (Bloomberg) -- France said it will maintain its law banning Muslim scarves and other signs of religious belief in state schools, rejecting a demand for its revocation by the Iraqi kidnappers of two French reporters.

The law, which comes into force with the beginning of the new school year on Thursday, ``will be applied because it's the law,'' government spokesman said on Canal Plus news.

That's what I was talking about. And I didn't even bring up the religion part. That was all you, and only because you're trying to divert attention from the questionable record of your "Anyone But Bush" man.

Nothing questionable...the ABB man volunteered to a war your guy avoided cleverly. And he risked his life while the souffle drank, snorted, missed physicals, got lost for few months, and then was declared unfit to fly. No wonder he had to scrape himself up from the bottom of the barrel, and like so many derelicts, after challenging his own father to a fist fight, he "found" God...who now advises him to start wars with third world countries. If it wasn't tragic, I'd laugh...
