Bush would leave us in a weak position because Iran knows he cannot rally world opinion in our favor.

Kerry can disentangle us from the Iraq quagmire, show the muslim world we are not out to conquer them, and then reach a solution supported by our long-standing allies, who the Chimp has completely alienated.

I think Iran would not be a threat with Kerry as President. Iran was moving towards an accommodation with the West before Bush labeled them as part of the "axis of evil". They were even allowing the US to use their air space for SAR missions in late 2001.

With Kerry, I think both the Iranian and North Korean issues can be solved diplomatically.
