Z, That's out of context; I don't believe my comment about "all politics" had anything to do with Kerry's war record... I think he should be proud of every bit of it.

- In your context, it's the reason why Kerry isn't running on his Senate record, but instead chooses his Vietnam record to run on.

- It's obvious that he's proud of his war record, but he's still trying to run away from his anti-war record. Why should he? After all, his base of support would love him even more if he embraced his anti-war past as well as his war past, wouldn't they?

Because once again, it's all about the "swing voters."
