Nothing the RNC does is fair or innocent. They are very calculating. They run smear campaigns against war heros and let Michael Moore be seen in ther midst. Either way, the move has a purpose. What you saw tonight was their charade of moderate acceptable GOP faces to try and hide the far rightwing which almost totally controls the party. They neglect to mention McCain has been fighting Bush tooth and nail on many issues his entire term. Bush seems to be trying to do a huge flip-flop and morph himself into more of a McCain type. Amazing anyone would believe a word he says after stabbing McCain in the back so many times.
