I hope we aren't all "drinking the Koolaid!"

May I suggest, that history has taught us to wait a while until AFTER the elections, to know the conclusive outcome. Everything between now and then is speculation (not of the Mr Market kind, but then, Mr Voter & Mr Market do share more than a few similarities).

I hope we aren't all "drinking the Koolaid!" Agree with that LB....no resting on laurels, so to speak. That's why I decided to do whatever I can do starting next week after Labor Day. Hopefully, we all will.

No one wants a debacle like the 2000 election. Heck, it was the last straw, and the only time either my hubby or I had ever participated in a protest march. It's still funny to us in a way.

Several hundred Repubs and conservatives marching through the center of Seattle the first week in Dec 2000....huffing and puffing with our flags, and signs....No More Gore....complete with lots of police escorts. Latte' land has never been the same since. Just the very thought of Republican protesters is nearly laughable.

Especially if they are wearing suits and sneakers....<ggg>

Last night was a stark contrast to the Demo convention.

Two of the five speakers did mentioned GW, but all five focused on honoring all the men and women who stand or stood on the cutting edge of the defense of liberty.

The Demo convention occasionally mentioned our current crop of heroes, but only in the context of wasted effort. All of the demo speakers focused on honoring Kerry.

The ad that featured a US Marine was probably Kerry's idea. It was subversive and will provide aid and comfort to our enemies just like Kerry's 1971 testimony.

I think we should expect a major attack by the Kerry machine beginning next weekend,
