We are religious and we spare the use of religion in politics. Religion has its due place. Surely it is not the podium of a political convention. It is a one-on-one connect between God and the individual. God can and is very well capable to connect with each individual. We do not need a Jerry Falwell or George Bush to be the self-appointed leader of God to tell us what to do. It is important to ensure that we are on God's side and not that God is on our side.

It is Bush and the religious right (who are neither religious nor right) who insult and have no respect when they say "God is our side."

I will stop here and you folks dare not tell others about God for the others know it very well. That punk last night was a coward when Ron Reagan told him to utter the name of his God and he didn't.
