I am absolutely amazed! Here I am, once again permitted to post on ChinuSFO"s thread.

What happened? Has Chinu undergone some kind of political/personal/social/cultural/religious/intellectual reformation?

What have I done to deserve this? And how long will it last?

We'll have to wait for the answers to these questions.

Yes, but is this what you would expect of an incumbent, going neck-and-neck into his party's convention?

You will have to agree that the situation worldwide is very volatile and anything can happen between now and election day. People are expecting Kerry camp to let loose something they have not done yet and the guess is Halliburton and milking of the American taxpayer. Using the office of the Vice-Presidency for personal gains. Rumors flying that Bush might drop Cheney midway etc. etc. It is possible that Cheney rumors could be emanating from the Kerry camp. But why would the Kerry camp put it out if it is not gullible?

So 60 days and the undecideds will have their say. The pop in Bush's numbers is because of the Republican base who had said they may not come out to vote are now saying they would. I don't think the pop is from new converts to Bush camp. According to one analyst, the 5% or so undecideds is not good news for Bush since history says they generally break for the challenger.
