mish, Simple. The Fed is in a hurry because Greenspan doesn't want to be blamed for the next depression. He will blame it on Bush, who deserves a chunk of the blame, but Greenie is the main architect. Bush is the guy who pours the faulty concrete specified in the blueprint. <G>
