Really - I wish you would have told me earlier.

Greg - there is a popular saying among "seasoned" parents...

Encourage you children to leave home and go out on their own
while they are still teenagers and know everything

I, in some way miss the days when everything I believed was
beyond question and could be "easily" defended.

Greg - the jailer alone was told to believe - and if he
alone believed - his household would be saved.

The KEY ELEMENT you are ignoring is that Faith is a Gift

God grants to whomsoever HE WILLS this gift:

Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were
glad, and glorified the word of the Lord:
and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Greg - as many as were ordained believed - not as many as
believed became ordained - that is utterly backwards.

It is too bad (forgive my sarcasm) that you were not alive to
inform poor Job that God has no grandchildren.

That poor and righteous soul wasted hours both praying and offering
sacrifice for the sins of his children when they really needed
to do all of that themselves before it could mean a thing.

Job 1:5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting
were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them,
and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt
offerings according to the number of them all: for Job
said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in
their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Greg there are many such examples that you may want to look
at when you come to the place where you no longer know everything.

All of Job's children went to heaven - that is a biblical fact...
all of my children will go to heaven - that is why I had 10 of them
I did not have them to feed the fires of hell - God is giving them faith.

You are right - they are not grandchildren - they are also
sons - His sons lent to me to raise up in the fear and
admonition of the Lord:

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath:
but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.

God is not a liar - your theology at this point stinks.
