ray man- I intend to drive a stake through the heart of evil whenever I confront it. i know. but it's too anti-life for me. it snot my path... i like nelson mandela's approach better. it snot as messy or bloody. but do what you will. follow your bliss. it'll eventually work for you in the long run even if it fails. who knows... maybe it'll lead you to try another approach. Being tolerant of the despicable hate being spewed [by] the Right is a morally reprehensible cop-out on the part of wishy-washy, namby-pamby "liberals", perhaps liberals like you. choosing the opposite tack from despicable hate spewage is not "Being tolerant" of it... it's a courageous dedication and personal sacrifice that is much more difficult than the use of reactionary violence. it's a different approach to a solution to the same problem. it worked well in south africa against apartheid with minimal casualties. and it worked well in the united states against racial discrimination. it's not easy and requires great sacrifice. many people raised in western culture, organized religions, heavily militarized countries and places where they show a lot of john wayne fantasy movies aren't cut out for it... (including you, obviously). it's okay. follow your heart. the universe is perfect and these opposing polarities are what creates the energy and dynamics to keep it growing and evolving. but there's no need to make enemies of people who don't use hatred, fear and anger as a guiding force in their lives - they're not a threat to you... and i'm not a threat to you either. namaste -dustman
