Yes, this is true for other areas in Paly, though not the area this house is located, which is the area I said there hasn't been a house sold in that price range since the late 90s.

The point of the comment is just to say, this is an insane real estate bubble, when a house shoots up around 3Xs in 7 years. It's no different than the stock bubble.

(Humor... the definition of "luxury" home in Palo Alto is a 4 bedroom house.)
