Sorry but you don't exactly sound like the tolerant person you think you are.

a fairly nice Houston Suburb. I happen to live in one of those and when I drive west along the nearest large street, I pass first, a Grapevine (Pentecostal) church, then a small Christian Science reading room (whatever that is), a large non-denominational Christian church, then a large Baptist church, followed by a Mormon Temple, then a very large Roman Catholic Church. The Houston area is as diverse as anywhere in the US and it was back in the '70's too.
