Bush cant retract a statement he meant. He said from the heart in an unguarded way that we cannot win the war on terror. He said it deliberately and thoughtfully. Only after the DEms blasted him for it did he totally rtetract it, but that's the way he really feels. We cannot win, at least with him as our leader. He's right about the last part. Bush creates more terrorists than he destroys. He is the poster boy for Al Qaida recruitment in the world. They can use his lies against us, and his Abu Graib atrocities too.

Bush clearly said we cannot win the war on terror. Now he says he just isn't articulate. That is just pure spin and a lame excuse. There was nothing inarticulate about hisn original statement. He said it clearly and he meant it. So this proves BUSH IS UNFIT TO BE COMMANDER IN CHIEF. He blew Iraq, let Osama go, let 9-11 happen, exploted the hell out of for political gain and we're supposed to trust him now?

Oh, come on. Carolyn, you can't have reasoned discourse with that individual. The majority of moderates and GOPer's, from religious conservatives to libertarians, posting on SI can carry on a rational discussion of the issues. The lefties here, with few exceptions, are reduced to pablum spewing. Regurgitating the same old stale platitudes, over and over, while masquerading as pseudo intellectual know-it-alls, shows a dearth of original thought. AS is the self anointed queen of that hive..
